Ford F-150 Outpaces the RAM 1500
If you're in the market for a new pickup truck near Jasper, chances are the Ford F-150 is already on your list of models to research. Introduced to the market in 1975, the F-150 has been in continuous production for well over 40 years. It has been the best-selling pickup in America since 1977 and the best-selling vehicle overall since 1986; a testament to its enduring tenacity and dependability. While there are certainly many worthy competitors on the market today, the F-150 has made a name for itself as the standard setter to which all other vehicles in its class are compared.
In the full-size light-duty pickup segment, the main competitor to the F-150 is the RAM 1500. Itself an industry veteran, the RAM 1500 is capable and stylish, with loads of features. At first glance both the F-150 and 1500 appear quite alike. Both models offer similar technology and feature sets, as well as an abundance of interior versatility. But, when put head-to-head against the Ford F-150, the shortcomings of the RAM 1500 are brought to light.
