The Ford Bronco at Bill Dobson Ford: Still Tough and Wild with Two New Trim Levels

At Bill Dobson Ford in Washington, IN, we are very pleased to bring you the new Ford Bronco. The Ford Bronco will take you from Lawrenceville, IL to Petersburg, IN. It is also quite amazing as a daily driver. The Ford Bronco has a powerful engine, good towing capacity, and available two-door and four-door models. For the current model year, there are two Heritage models reminiscent of the 1966 Ford Bronco. There are also two new trim models for your off-road needs.

Performance

The Ford Bronco has a four-cylinder or one of two V6 engines as choices, depending upon the trim model and your selection. There is either a seven-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission has a crawl mode that will assist travel over rocks. Depending upon the engine choice, you will get from 300 to 330 horsepower and 325 or 415 lb.-ft. of torque. The towing capacity is either 3,500 or 4,500 pounds. Even though the Ford Bronco is a beast off the pavement, it is highly mannered for road driving and handling.

Four-wheel drive can be engaged or turned off as well as terrain modes dependent upon the trim model. Terrain modes will help you with challenges such as deep sand, steep grades, and towing.

Technology

The base is an 8-inch multimedia screen with an 11-inch screen. There is smartphone compatibility, a premium audio system with a SiriusXM radio, and 911 assistance.

Interior and Exterior Features

On the exterior, you can choose two-door or four-door Ford Broncos for your adventures around Vincennes, IN. The two-door Bronco can get you around in tighter spaces. There are available hard-topped vehicles as well as one with a convertible top. You can also take off the doors for your off-road adventures. Wheels sizes are anywhere from 16 to 18 inches. Based on the trim model, ground clearance varies from 8.3 to 13.1 inches.

On the interior, the focus remains on its off-road roots. There are thoughtful features like rubber flooring with plugs that allow you to hose down the interior after off-road travel with the doors off. The upholstery also has similar features, focusing on more water-repellent and easy-care materials. Even the switches have rubber protection to allow you to hose down the interior without worry.

Trim Levels

The new Ford Bronco has eight trim levels:

  • Ford Bronco Base - The base model gives you a choice of the four-cylinder or V6 engine. You can also choose your door configuration and an automatic or manual transmission. The manual transmission is standard and has a crawler gear for driving in rock gardens.
