The Legend Continues… Pre-Order the 2021 Ford Bronco near Washington, IN

It's hard to believe that nearly 25 years have passed since we last saw a new Ford Bronco. Ever since Ford shifted focus to the larger Expedition, the off-road scene just hasn't been the same. And while a reboot of the legendary nameplate has long been expected, no one was quite sure when it would finally arrive…until now.

That's right, the Ford Bronco is returning for the 2021 model year, with a modernized nostalgia-inducing retro look and all the trail-tackling advancements that two and a half decades can bring. Available in two- and four-door configurations, with a removable roof and doors, two potent engine options, and two advanced four-wheel-drive systems, the 2021 Bronco is sure to please off-road veterans and newcomers alike. While the official launch is slated for some time in early-2021, you can pre-order the Ford Bronco right now through Bill Dobson Ford.

2021 Ford Bronco Powertrains

Engines and Transmissions

Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine moves the all-new Bronco with 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Vincennes IN purists looking to handle their own gear shifts will love the class-exclusive 7-speed manual transmission (6+1 super-low crawl gear) with a segment-leading 94.75:1 crawl ratio. And if you don't mind the vehicle doing the work, you're sure to appreciate the precision and smoothness of the first-in-class 10-speed automatic transmission.

Looking for even more internal motivation? Bronco also offers an available twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 with 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

Either engine will send power to the standard Dana axles through a three-mode four-wheel-drive system with Part-Time Selectable Engagement and a two-speed, electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case. Or, Jasper IN off-roaders can opt for the available Advanced 4x4 System with Automatic On-Demand Engagement and a two-speed electromechanical transfer case. Either 4x4 system can be flat-towed when in Neutral.

The G.O.A.T.™

With the Bronco's advanced Terrain Management System™ and up to eight selectable drive modes, Loogootee drivers can Go Over Any Terrain. Whether you're an experienced trail-runner or are new to the scene, the 2021 Bronco easily adapts to your level of expertise. Standard modes include Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. The ultra-capable Bronco Badlands two more modes (Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl) and swaps Sport for Baja.

Whether you're passing over obstacles, climbing slopes, or clambering over rock gardens, Bronco has you covered with available best-in-class departure (37.2 degrees) and breakover (29 degrees) angles and 11.6 inches of ground clearance. Available off-road amenities include Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive, Trail Cruise Control, Bilstein dampers, rock rails, bash plates, locking axles, and a hydraulic front sway-bar disconnect system.

The 2021 Bronco features a spacious cabin with plenty of elbow room and versatile cargo capacity. Two-door models offer up to 58.4 cubic feet of max cargo space, and four-door models up to 77.6. Available rubberized floors, integrated drains, and vinyl upholstery allow for easy spray-downs, so don't be afraid to get a little dirty.
